IoT solutions are powered by connectivity, but the end user is mostly concerned with how a solution performs and less with the connectivity. The expectation – as IoT adoption accelerates – is that connected devices will work directly out of the box and without fail. The challenge is on the IoT industry to orchestrate seamless connectivity that works despite fragmented connectivity offerings.
Low power wide area (LPWA) technologies are emerging as an attractive connectivity solution for IoT, and while the technology is still relatively young, it is anticipated that utilization will be considerable. Watch as KORE executive Marco Bijvelds and other industry experts discuss LPWA in a panel discussion at MWC Barcelona.
