Get ready for another exciting edition of our monthly KORE Connections series, where we shine a light on the exceptional team members who drive KORE’s success in meeting your connectivity needs so efficiently. This month, we’re thrilled to introduce Helen Hoult, KORE’s Commercial Strategy Director.
Helen is a true telecoms pioneer with a wealth of knowledge in customer-facing commercial roles. Since joining KORE in 2022, she has demonstrated an incredible work ethic, contributing significantly to our commercial strategy and supporting strategic opportunities. Based in the UK, Helen brings her expertise and dedication to the forefront of our operations.
When she’s not shaping the future of telecom, Helen is an avid equestrian, often found exploring the beautiful North Wessex Downs on horseback.
Stay tuned as we dive deeper into Helen’s story and the vital role she plays at KORE!
Q: What is one thing in life you cannot go without?
A: Horses, they are my haven and how I choose to relax, and I like nothing better than riding fast across the beautiful English countryside. Although hard work when you look after them yourself, the fun and thrills (and spills occasionally!) is well worth it.
Q: What is one experience you will never do again?
A: I’m usually happy to have a go at anything but eating Brussels Sprouts in a never again experience. I’m firmly in the ‘hate’ them camp and the British fascination with them to be on the plate for Christmas dinner is not something I understand at all.
Q: What has been one of your favorite aspects of working at KORE?
A: The Team at KORE is always very friendly and wants to deliver the best experience for our customers, which makes working at KORE and sharing that goal across the team, in all our regions, my favourite aspect. I’m a people person at heart and enjoy working within the KORE team.
Q: If you could only have one dessert for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A: White chocolate mousse every time. I wouldn’t know how to make one but love eating them.
Q: Where was the best vacation you’ve ever had? Why?
A: I went on a bit of a round the world holiday, from London with a quick stop over in Hong Kong, to the Great Barrier Reef coast, down to Sydney, carried on to the North Island, New Zealand and toured from Wellington to Auckland and then headed homewards via Los Angeles. I have so many memories of the holiday. My highlights were snorkeling in the Reef (even for someone who doesn’t like to swim!). Waitomo caves and the glow warms were magical, and it was great to meet up with friends that I hadn’t seen for years and have that time with my family.
Q: What are some of the most important lessons you’ve learned in life?
A: Live for today, never regret and don’t look back, learn and move forward. It’s important to understand that things can go wrong and take away the learnings and use them to shape your next steps toward achieving your goals. Most importantly, enjoy whatever you do and have fun.
